Manage My Account

  • Update My Personal Information

    Whether you’ve moved, gotten a new phone number, or want to use a new email address to access your account, making changes to your personal information is easy!

    1. Log in to your Mobile or Online Banking account
    2. Navigate to the Settings page
    3. Select Contact
    4. Update your information
    5. Select Save and you’re all done!

     

    Other ways to update your information:

  • Reconcile My Account Balance

    You can confirm whether your account balance matches your records with our easy-to-use Account Reconciliation form.

  • Add or Remove Someone from My Account(s)

    Sometimes things and circumstances change–we get it. That’s why we make it as easy as 1, 2, 3 (OK, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) to add or remove authorized members, beneficiaries, and powers of attorney from your account(s).

    1. Print out our Account Change Form
    2. Provide your account information at the top of the form
    3. Complete the requested information related to who you want to add or remove and for which account(s)
    4. If applicable, have a Notary Public complete the Notary Public section
    5. You can fax your completed form to 703-516-8175 or bring it in to your local branch and we’ll take care of the rest!

Payments and Wire Transfers

  • Stop a Payment

    Did you write a check with the wrong amount or to the wrong person? Pay for a service that wasn’t completed? Cancel an in-store or online purchase but were charged anyway? Don’t panic, we’ve got you covered!*

    Requests for ACH payments (payments made without paper checks, wire transfers, or credit card networks) can be completed and signed electronically:

    1. Log in to your Mobile or Online Banking account
    2. Navigate to the Accounts page
    3. Select Transactions
    4. Select Help to be directed to the Message Center
    5. Send us an online message with your request and ACH affidavit attached

     

    All other payments:

    1. Print out our Stop Payment Request form.
    2. Complete the requested information for your account and the purchase you’d like to stop payment on
    3. Bring your completed form to your local branch or fax it to 703-516-8175

     

    *Stop payment requests are not guaranteed and only apply to one payment at a time. See our fee schedule for stop payment fees.
  • Make a Domestic or International Wire Transfer

    If you’re vacationing, visiting, or have moved far from home or outside of the US, it may be a little difficult to get to your local Arlington branch—but that doesn’t mean you can’t get to your funds! You can authorize Arlington Community Federal Credit Union to make a one-time transfer from your Arlington account to an outside checking or savings account.

    1. Print out our Wire Transfer Request Form and review ACFCU’s Electronic Funds Transfer Agreement and Disclosure 
    2. Complete the requested information for your account, the financial institution to which the money will be sent, and the receiving accountholder’s account
    3. Provide a clear copy of your government issued photo ID (driver’s license or passport)
    4. For domestic wires, complete the form via your online banking wire transfer widget by 3 p.m. or submit via your online banking wire transfer widget by 2 p.m. for your request to be processed and funded that day; wires will not be processed on Saturday or Sunday
    5. Sit back and wait for your money!
